9 new things i've tried recently

Okay, so enough with posts of my life, let's get to the real stuff. ;) Today, I will mention 9 new things I have tried recently. Let's jump right in.

1. Fitness Blender

A few months ago, I wanted to start exercising every day to get in better shape. But the workout videos I owned on DVD were slightly boring, since I had done them before. So I began to search on YouTube for fitness routines. There, I found an exercise from this YouTube channel, Fitness Blender. After looking through the channel, I started to do some of the exercises. After about a week, I noticed that it was working very well, so I decided make an account on their website. This way, I could search for fitness routines that were in my skill level, the type of exercise I wanted to do, and set up a calendar. A month into it, and I feel a lot stronger, and better!

2. Sense and Sensibility

I have tried to read Jane Austen books in the past, but I could never understand them. Just stick to the movies, right? Well, now I figured I'm old enough to at least try to read them. And with that said, I started off with Sense and Sensibility. I'm not a very good reader, and I don't enjoy it a whole lot, so it takes me quite a while to make out the dialogue in the novel.

3. Acrobatics

Well, maybe not exactly acrobatics, but I try. I've been trying to do handstands, ariels, backbends, etc. As long as I stay careful and cautious, it is very fun, and helps me to get better balance, strength, and flexibility when I dance (which, by the way, is my favorite thing to do.)

4. Blogger

Duh, I have a blog. Of course I have to use Blogger. Though it took me almost 2 weeks to fully design my blog and figure out the whole "Blogger" system, it is pretty interesting.

5. Cold Showers

Now, not extremely freezing cold showers, but a little below warm is what I've been doing. First of all, when it's summer, cold showers feel very refreshing. Especially when there is no air conditioner in the house. No! ;) Also, my skin turned out to be not as red and it looks a lot better than before.

6. Zumba

If you don't know what Zumba is, it is a dance fitness program. My grandma gave us her old Wii video game (like I'd use that, right?) and it came with Zumba Fitness. Why not try it? It turns out, it is so fun to do. It teaches you the steps to each type of dance, and then you can learn a dance routine. I can literally play Zumba for hours!

7. PB2

PB2 is powdered peanut butter. All you have to do is add water and BAM, you have peanut butter that has less sugar and fat in it. It tastes really good and just like regular peanut butter, just not as sweet.

8. PicMonkey

When I was researching on blog type things, I ran across a photo editing website called "PicMonkey." Because I have a phone and not a camera to take my photos, I have to edit my pictures. PicMonkey helps make my pictures look from terrible, to being pretty good.

9. Banana Clips

I've never been that much of a fan of ponytails. I just don't like my hair in them. So one time, Mom and I were at the store, and we ran across these things called "banana clips." I had no idea what they were, so we tried them out. Mom, (being the expert in working with my hair ;) ) put one in before I went to tennis one time, and it turned out to be so cute! I absolutely love these clips! Though I recommend that if you try them, they look better when your hair is wavy or curly.

Now, some of the things I listed might reveal that I am a nut when it comes to health/fitness. That might annoy you. I know it annoys me. ;) But whatever, it's the way I am, right?
