the week comes to a close | July 3-9

A very, very short week. At least, it felt like it. Nothing really going on, nothing all that interesting, just mostly life at home. I've been really bad at getting to bed before midnight every night, and I keep waking up way later than I should every the morning. But who cares, there is always next week to get back on track. :) By the way, I have decided to start series called "The Week Comes to a Close." Yes, another series. ;P

This Week: golf/walking for three hours straight, swimming every night at the recreation center, trying out two healthy recipes (thanks to Pinterest), the anxiety of buying an American Girl doll for my sister, searching for an audition song for the WRHS musical, and a lethargic dog. The story of my life.

Bible Verse of the Week:

He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
~ Psalms 91:4

Laugh from This Week:

Me: Selah, could you please grab my phone?
Selah: Why can't you do it? You're sitting down doing nothing.
Me: I can't do it because the she's on me. (my dog was laying on my lap)
Selah: Did you say you're killing zombies?!?!?

Goals for Next Week:

- Get to bed before 10 p.m. at night.
- Take family photos with my sisters.
- Master an aerial (if you don't know what that is, it's basically a cartwheel without using your arms.)
- Pick out an audition song for the WRHS musical (whatever the musical will be.)
- Treat my family with more respect, and be a nicer person in general. :)
- Surprise my youngest sister with something she loves (it's her birthday next week.)
- Start writing a short story or novel that I've been wanting to do.
- Play the piano a little more, and learn new songs.

A Few Facts from This Week:

- I hit what I think was 180 yards in one shot golfing this week!
- I tried to make these pancakes this week. They tasted like banana bread with blueberries... But they were very good!
- While at the pool, I flipped off of the diving board about fifteen times.

Well, fellow friends, that's about it. I hope you all have an amazing week!
