chicago, il part 2.

i'm back! see, i told you i'd post a part two, and you didn't have to wait endless months!

let's jump right in!

Around Chicago - Touring on Big Bus Chicago Hop on Hop Off Tour.
we toured on the bus to get around Chicago for the two days we stayed. since it's a "hop on hop off" tour, it made various stops at most visited landmarks, such as Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Navy Pier, etc. 

ps : the second photo in this group is the Willis Tower. if you zoom in to the top, and look to the left side of the building, there are clear boxes. that is where we stood in the previous post at Skydeck Chicago.

Centennial Wheel - Navy Pier.
the wheel is 196 feet tall. one box could fit eight people, and there is air conditioning or heating. there is a 360 view of part of Lake Michigan, and the city.

Shakespeare Theatrer - Navy Pier.
there were loads of various shops//entertainment areas at Navy Pier, and this was one of them. 

Tall Ship Windy - Navy Pier.
Tall Ship Windy is a pirate ship that tours around the shoreline of Chicago.

btw, we also traveled to Goreville, Il, to experience the total solar eclipse. 

before hand, it was extremely warm and sunny; about ninety degrees i'm guessing? i'm sorry i didn't get any of the actual eclipse, but basically, it was a was the moon; completely black, with a white, glowing ring around it. 

weirdly enough, it went down from ninety degrees to sixty in the span of just a minute. as it grew darker, you could hear the animals coming out, like it was night.

i apologize that post is quite brief, and can't really match up to part 1. but give me some credit! i woke up this morning feeling under the weather, and all i want to do is watch tv; #sick #couchpotato.

anyway, i need to get back to my studies.
