top 5 fitness quotes to keep you motivated.

as we all have probably experienced, life can be pretty hectic. i mean, c'mon, everyone has to admit they've had a goal they've wanted to reach, but sometimes, life catches up to us. a main goal for some people, is exercise.

*warning.* i go into a 'medical commercial' type of state for the next paragraph. you have been warned.

if you've experienced, 'i'll begin exercising tomorrow,' or 'i'll just eat one brownie today (actually turns out to be the whole pan),' you've unfortunately turned into moi.

okay, okay! just kidding. i'll be serious now.

if you tell yourself these types of things, or something similar, you may end up regretting your decision in the future. i speak from experience. when i procrastinate, i tend to get depressed, leading into overeating, and therefore lowering my enthusiasm in school, dance, and basically anything i'd normally be jumping head-first into.

this short list of quotes keeps me inspired to wake up every morning, whip my hair up, and get active.

Numéro Un.

"you don't have to go fast... you just have to go."

Numéro Deux.

"when you fell like stopping think about why you started."

fun fact - my motivation to exercising, is dance. it may seem strange to most people, but when i want to quit, i simply remember why i began in the first place; in order to get in better shape to dance more. even if it takes awhile, i always begin exercising again. i must really be in love with dancing...

Numéro Trois.

"either you run the day or the day runs you."

Numéro Quatre.

"stronger than yesterday."

even though you may not feel like it when you start, you always begin stronger than yesterday. don't let muscle soreness get to you! after exercising correctly, while sore, it will go away, leaving you stronger than before.

ps - of course, there is a fine line between muscle soreness and muscle injuries. be sure to specify which is which.

Numéro Cinq.

"don't forget: healthy looks different on every body."

this is a main one i forget about; being fit always looks different to everybody! don't be comparing yourself to other people if you've worked out for months//years, because you may be disappointed. you don't have to be the 'perfect' body-type to remain fit.
